Product Details

Johnstone’s Matt Emulsion is a high opacity, low odour, water based paint for use on interior walls and ceilings. It provides a smooth, durable matt finish that is wipeableand is ideal for use on new plaster.

Preparation
Ensure that the surface to be painted is sound, clean dry and free from grease. Remove all loose paint and wall coverings. Seal absorbent surfaces with a solution of up to 1 part water to 4 parts Johnstone’s Matt emulsion. Glossy surfaces should be rubbed down with fine waterproof abraisve paper and rinsed thoroughly to provide a key. avoid the inhalaion of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
Application
Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Stir well before use. Apply paint evenly by brush, roller and avoid overspreading. Do not apply in temperatures below 10ºC or in damp conditions
Cleaning
Remove as much product as possible from brushes, rollers and paint pads before cleaning. Clean all equipment immediately after use in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly
